Ethical Animal Care.

The Office of Animal Welfare administratively assists the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), which oversees the entire animal care program at WVU to ensure the health and well-being of all animals being used for research, teaching, and outreach.

The IACUC provides guidance in all animal-use procedures with the highest humane and ethical principles.
